DESCRIPTION: God of War: Ascension is a prequel to the popular hack and slash action saga exclusive to PlayStation, GoW. Released exclusively for PS3, it is located chronologically at the beginning of the series, just six months after Kratos murdered his wife and daughter. Throughout his campaign, we discovered the origins of the Spartan soldier who sells his soul to Ares, god of war, and wields the swords of Chaos to face Olympus. For the first time in the series, the title God of War: Ascension includes a multiplayer mode for eight players divided into teams of four. Although the protagonist is not eligible for this mode, it is possible to customize the equipment of the warriors and swear allegiance to different gods that grant different styles of play. It also has a sort of horde mode for a player.
